Scattered across the country are structures that were once integral parts of our nation’s industrial period, a time when past generations toiled in textile plants, factories and mills to build a better life for their families. Many of the massive old buildings that housed these businesses have long since been abandoned and are often in locations where renovation would be futile and rehabbing unfeasible. These buildings do, however, contain a wealth of beautiful old wood.

Once a community has deemed an abandoned building unsafe or unable to be restored, Turning House Furniture brings it—and all the rich history it contained—back into use and into people’s lives again.
